Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Nicole is the Assistant Director of Member Relations for Asia and Oceania. As the primary contact for member institutions in her region, she works closely with coordinators to promote mobility, develop new programs and facilitate strategic initiatives, manage exchange numbers, and uphold membership standards. Nicole earned her B.A. Cum Laude in East Asian Studies at Agnes Scott College, participating in two Summer study abroad programs in Japan along the way. She then taught English as a Foreign Language in suburban Japan for three years as a member of the JET Program. Deeply inspired by her experience on JET, she applied to the University of Pennsylvania to pursue graduate studies in Education and completed her M.S.Ed. in Intercultural Communication in 2015. Most recently prior to joining the staff at ISEP Study Abroad, Nicole was the Senior Program Coordinator at an ISEP member institution and served on the ISEP Council of Advisors. She is committed to equity and access in International Education and has held volunteer roles advocating for DEIBJ initiatives throughout her career, including Chair of ISEP's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Task Force and Scholarship Coordinator for the NAFSA Rainbow SIG. At any given time, Nicole is usually found with at least one cat on her lap. In her free time, she enjoys reading, attempting to write, cross-stitching, playing video games with her husband, and singing her lungs out at karaoke.
